Are You “Constipated” in Your Business? The Mindset Shift You Didn’t Know You Needed

Yep.
We’re talking about being constipated.
Don’t worry—I don’t mean physically.
Stick with me, because this analogy is going to hit you right in the entrepreneurial gut (in the best way).

💩 Are You “Constipated” in Your Life or Business?
Here’s what I mean by constipated:
You’re holding everything in.
You’re stopping yourself from being your true, fully-expressed self.
You’re blocking your own momentum.
You’re refusing to “let out” what the world needs to see from you.
And friend…
It is not healthy.
I see this constantly—especially among women, teachers, direct sellers, and brand-new business owners.
And truthfully…
I’ve done it to myself, too.
We tell ourselves:
- “I can’t post that.”
- “I could never go live.”
- “People will judge me.”
- “What will my co-workers think?”
- “Who am I to start a business?”
- “I don’t want to annoy anyone.”
- “I’m not confident enough yet.”
- “I’m scared I’ll fail.”
This is constipation in mindset form.
You’re full of ideas, passion, talent, and purpose…
but you’re blocked by fear, judgment, doubt, and hesitation.
And it’s time to get un-constipated.
🌟 What’s Actually Holding You Back?
Everyone has a reason.
Some of the most common ones I hear (especially from my team and my fellow teachers):
✔️ Judgement from friends or family
“Why are you posting that online?”
“Do you have to put everything on Facebook?”
People ask because they don’t understand your goals—not because you’re doing something wrong.
✔️ Fear of failure
You’re scared to try…
because what if it doesn’t work?
But friend—what if it DOES?
✔️ Confidence issues
You think you need to be perfect, polished, or “ready.”
Spoiler alert: no one feels ready when they start.
✔️ Professional pressure (especially for teachers and public-facing careers)
You’re held to a higher standard.
People police your social media.
You feel like you have to hide parts of your life.
And while I personally think this is wildly unfair…
it’s also the reality.
But even with those constraints, there is ALWAYS a way to show up authentically and safely.
🔥 The Truth No One Talks About…
There is someone out there right now who needs your story.
Your voice.
Your journey.
Your honesty.
Your courage.
Your experience.
I can’t tell you how many messages I’ve received from women saying:
“You posted exactly what I needed today.”
“Thank you for sharing that.”
“Because of you, I finally started my business.”
You don’t inspire people by staying quiet.
You don’t change lives by hiding.
You don’t grow by holding everything in.
You inspire by doing.
By trying.
By showing up.
By being real.
🚫 Stop Waiting. Stop Watching. Stop Holding It In.
Maybe you’ve watched other women do things you want to do:
✨ Start a business
✨ Show up online
✨ Go live
✨ Travel solo
✨ Switch careers
✨ Chase big goals
✨ Become top leaders in their companies
And you’ve thought:
“I could do that.”
Guess what?
You’re right.
But you can’t succeed at something you’re too afraid to start.
You can’t attract the right people if you never show them who you are.
You can’t build momentum when you’re stuck.
You can’t grow a business in silence.
Your potential is sitting inside you like… well… constipation.
And friend, it’s time to RELEASE it.
🚀 What Happens When You Finally “Let It Out”
In 2015, when I joined my very first network marketing company, I was TERRIFIED.
Terrified of failing.
Terrified of being judged.
Terrified of people talking.
Terrified of being seen trying something new.
I watched other women and thought:
“If they can do it, why can’t I?!”
But fear stopped me for way too long.
And you know what?
If I could go back, the ONLY thing I’d change is…
I would have started sooner.
Because starting changed:
- My confidence
- My income
- My opportunities
- My friendships
- My growth
- My life
Not everything worked out.
Not every attempt was a huge success.
But every time I TRIED, I grew.
And trying is something 99% of people will never do.
🌈 If It’s On Your Heart… It’s Meant For You
Whatever dream or idea you keep obsessing about—it’s on your heart for a reason.
Whether it’s:
- Starting a business
- Going live
- Sharing your story
- Switching careers
- Traveling solo
- Launching a podcast
- Posting consistently
- Joining a team
- Leaving a situation that no longer fits
- Changing your life in ANY way
It is calling you.
And every day you ignore that calling…
the pressure builds.
Your soul gets more and more “backed up.”
Until one day you realize:
You’re not stuck.
You’re just scared.
And fear is something we can work through.
✨ It’s Time to Get Un-Constipated
Here’s your permission slip to:
✔️ Go live
✔️ Post the thing
✔️ Sign up
✔️ Start the business
✔️ Say yes
✔️ Say no
✔️ Try something new
✔️ Share your journey
✔️ Put yourself out there
✔️ Be seen
And if that feels scary?
GOOD.
Do it scared.
Someone out there is waiting for you to take the first step so they can take theirs.
You Don’t Find Your People By Hiding.
You find them by showing up.
You find them by being YOU.
You find them by letting it all out.
So friend…
this is your gentle, slightly hilarious reminder:
Stop holding everything in.
Stop blocking your greatness.
Stop shrinking.
Stop waiting.
Stop being “constipated.”
The world needs what you have.
