Passports, Profits and Pixie Dust Podcast: Ep 187 BIZ TIP THURSDAY

Why Going “All In” on Your Health Helps You Level Up Your Business

(Inspired by an Energize Live with Julie Voris)

Welcome back to another Biz Tip Thursday on the Passports, Profits and Pixie Dust Podcast! ✨
I’m Lindsay Dollinger — business coach, dog mama, Disney lover, and big believer that when you tap into your magic, it impacts every area of your life.

This week’s tip is inspired by something I heard on Julie Voris’ Energize Live, and honestly…it hit me right in the gut. The good kind of gut punch that wakes you up, shifts your perspective, and reminds you who you are.

So buckle in, princess. This one is short, punchy, and exactly what you need to hear today.

Listen to the episode here:

The Truth We ALL Know… But Don’t Always Want to Hear

Julie said something so simple, yet so powerful:

“When you go all in on your health and fitness, it becomes almost impossible for the other areas of your life NOT to elevate.”

Read it again. Let it land.

Because we all know this.
But we don’t always want to believe it.

Your health—your movement, your energy, your discipline, your habits—is the FOUNDATION of everything else:

✨ Your business
✨ Your relationships
✨ Your creativity
✨ Your confidence
✨ Your consistency
✨ Your mental health
✨ Your ability to show up
✨ Your resilience
✨ Your belief in yourself

When you uplevel one area of your life, other areas naturally rise with it.
And the opposite is true, too.

My Real-Life Moment of “Okay, Universe. I Hear You.”

Today was Day 1 of my marathon training plan.

Yes… full marathon.
Yes… 26.2 miles.
Yes… The Walt Disney World Marathon (of course it had to be Disney).

I signed up two months ago with adrenaline, excitement, and big goals.

But then life did what life does:

✔ end-of-school-year chaos
✔ getting really sick
✔ traveling
✔ rebranding my podcast
✔ launching new business offers

And slowly that fire started to dim.
The doubts snuck in.

“Can I really do this?”
“Am I strong enough?”
“What if I fail?”
“What if I’m behind already?”

Sound familiar?

But hearing Julie talk this morning snapped me right back into reality:

If I want my business, my health, my mindset, and my LIFE to rise—I have to decide to rise.

So I showed up to Day 1 of training differently.
Not halfway.
Not with a backup plan.
Not with the mindset of “We’ll see.”

I decided:
I’m all in. Start to finish. Consistent. Intentional. No more half-assing.

And I instantly felt the shift.

Your Business Needs This Same Energy

Here’s the golden nugget (and maybe the kick in the booty you need):

Stop half-assing the things you claim matter to you.
Go all in — even if you go in slowly.
Consistency beats intensity every time.

In running terms, it looks like this:

🚫 Sprint then crash
🚫 Push hard then ghost yourself for a week
🚫 Show up only when you feel motivated

Instead…

✨ Choose a steady pace
✨ Train the right muscles
✨ Build the right habits
✨ Show up on the days you don’t want to
✨ And stop giving yourself the easy out

This applies to your BUSINESS just as much as your RUNNING.

You don’t build a marathon body by accident.
You don’t build a dream business by accident either.

A Hard Truth From My Heart (Triggered by Real Life)

A few hours before recording that episode, I found out that my very first principal — someone I worked with for six years — passed away unexpectedly from a stroke.

He was not old.

It gutted me.
It shook me.
And it reminded me:

We only get one life.
One body.
One chance to build something meaningful and magical.
One chance to live fully.

And we owe it to ourselves — and the people who love us — to take care of ourselves.
Physically.
Mentally.
Emotionally.
Financially.
Professionally.

Showing up for your health isn’t just for you.
Showing up for your business isn’t just for you.

It’s for every future moment you’re meant to be a part of.

So What’s Your One Thing Today?

What one small thing can you do TODAY to move your life forward?

Maybe it’s…

💛 Going to bed 30 minutes earlier
💛 Drinking water before your Diet Coke
💛 Pressing publish on the email you’ve been avoiding
💛 Walking for 10 minutes
💛 Posting the Reel you’re scared to share
💛 Sending that pitch
💛 Eating a real breakfast
💛 Showing up in your stories
💛 Mapping out your next offer

It doesn’t have to be dramatic.
It just has to be consistent.

Your Biz Tip Thursday Challenge

👉 Choose ONE way to show up for yourself today.
👉 Something small but powerful.
👉 Something you’ve been avoiding.
👉 Something that moves the needle.

Then DM me on Instagram and tell me what it was.
I want to cheer you on. 💛

Final Reminder, Princess:

You are capable of more than you give yourself credit for.
You don’t need perfection.
You need decision.
You need consistency.
You need to show up like the version of you who already DID the thing.

Go give yourself that gift today.
I’m cheering you on every step of the way. 💛✨
