Amawaterways: I cannot say enough good this about this cruise line! We were treated like royalty every day aboard Amacerto. The itinerary was why we chose this cruise (the Christmas Markets) but we did not factor in our time on the boat as being such a wonderful experience! The food 3 meals a day was delicious. The lounge was homey and inviting. The cabins were fantastic. We hung our clothes, stashed the suitcases away and enjoyed every minute. The tours each day were outstanding. We saw all the top spots. Arranging to have gluwein in Dusseldor with a souvenir glass, wine tasting in Rudeshiem, and samples of baked goods and cheese as we strolled through Colmar was just icing on the cake. No detail was too small to be missed. The tours were absolutely fabulous.
Welcome Drivers: We were met in Amsterdam by our Welcome driver once we collected our bags. He took us to the beautiful Plaza Hotel warning us to be mindful we would be crossing the bike lane. The next morning, our Welcome driver arrived on time and not only dropped us at the docks but, thanks to his app, he drove us literally to the gangway for our cruise. When our cruise was over, our driver met us precisely on time and took us safely to the train station. In Paris, our Welcome driver met us at the gate when the train arrived because the train station is under renovations and could be confusing to connect with a driver. Finally, leaving Disneyland Paris, our driver was helpful, friendly, and gave us clear directions to where we needed to go once inside the terminal. Highly recommend this service for anyone traveling abroad. Thanks for that, Lindsay.
