Running a business can get noisy fast. Between the latest marketing trends, new social media platforms, and everyone telling you what you should be doing, it’s easy to overcomplicate things.
But here’s the truth: long-term business success always comes back to the basics.
In this week’s Biz Tip Thursday episode of the Passports, Profits and Pixie Dust Podcast, I’m diving into what I call the Three C’s of Business Growth — the exact framework I used to grow my online business while working full-time:
✨ Content
✨ Connections
✨ Consistency
Let’s break each one down and talk about how you can use them to create real momentum in your business this week.
Listen to the podcast here:
1. Create Quality, Branded Content
If you want people to find you, trust you, and buy from you — they have to first see you.
That starts with content. And I don’t just mean random posts on social media. I’m talking about intentional, high-quality content that:
- Speaks directly to your ideal client’s pain points
- Educates or entertains them
- Builds your personal brand
Your content doesn’t have to be perfect or polished. It just needs to be yours — authentic, valuable, and consistent with your message.
If every post on your social media is just something you’ve shared from someone else’s account, that’s a red flag. You’re not showing people who you are or what you do. Start today by posting something original — even if it’s imperfect.
Action step: Create one new post today that educates, entertains, or inspires your audience and ties back to your brand pillars.
2. Build Real Connections
Business growth happens through relationships, not algorithms.
Inside my Social Sales Studio, we hold each other accountable for making at least five new connections every day and reconnecting with five current or past contacts.
And no — connections don’t mean cold-pitching people in the DMs. It means genuinely getting to know them. Ask questions. Comment thoughtfully. Engage like a human being first.
When you build authentic relationships, sales naturally follow.
Action step: Reach out to five new people today and start a genuine conversation. No sales pitch — just connection.
3. Stay Consistent
This is where the magic happens.
You can have the best ideas, content, and connections in the world, but if you’re not showing up consistently, none of it will stick.
When I built my business to the top of my network marketing company, I committed to what I called my Daily Power Hour — one focused hour every day to work on my business. I even created a checklist to help me stay on track (and you can grab the same one for free on my website: lindsaydollinger.com).
It’s not about working 8 hours a day — it’s about being intentional with your time, every day.
Action step: Schedule daily time for your business — even 30 minutes counts — and protect that time like a CEO.
Collapsing Time: Why Coaching Helps You Grow Faster
You can absolutely Google or YouTube your way through business, but it will take you longer.
When you work with a coach or mentor, you’re not just paying for knowledge — you’re paying to collapse time. They can see what you can’t and help you make tweaks that move the needle faster.
That’s exactly what I help women do in my coaching programs and inside my membership — identify what’s working, what’s not, and how to simplify your next step.
Your Challenge This Week
Let’s go back to basics together.
✅ Create one piece of quality content every day
✅ Make five new and five current connections
✅ Be consistent — work your business daily
Do that this week, and you’ll be amazed at the traction you start to build.
And remember — don’t take your foot off the gas just as the momentum starts. Keep going. You’ve got this, friend. 💪✨
