The “I Don’t Know What to Post” Problem (We’ve All Been There)

Hello, beautiful magical friend—welcome back to another Biz Tip Thursday episode. These are the short, sweet episodes where I share a strategy to help you move your business forward.

And today we’re talking about something that hits every entrepreneur at some point:

Content creation.

Because even if you love showing up online… there are still days where you sit down and think:

  • “What do I even post?”

  • “I’m out of ideas.”

  • “Nothing feels inspiring.”

  • “I feel like I’ve already said everything.”

If that’s you—this episode is your permission slip to stop reinventing the wheel.

The Content Creation Hack: Create Content Around Questions

Here’s the hack:

Your best content ideas are already being handed to you.

They come in the form of:

  • questions people ask you

  • objections you hear

  • confusion you notice

  • comments people leave

  • DMs from potential clients

  • moments where someone says something and you think, “Wait… why do they think that?”

That is content gold.

Because if one person is asking it, there are more people wondering the same thing—quietly—while watching you.

A Real Example: “Why Are Your Prices Your Prices?”

This came up twice on client calls this week, and one example stood out:

One of my clients is a tutor (a math coach), and a parent questioned her pricing. The parent wasn’t sure why her rates were what they were, and my client felt a little caught off guard.

And here’s what I told her:

That question is neutral.
It’s not an attack—it’s an opportunity.

Because it opens the door to educate, clarify, and highlight the value behind what you do.

In her case, she does way more than “show up and teach.”
She’s:

  • prepping lessons like a real educator

  • customizing sessions in real time

  • adjusting based on what the student needs

  • reviewing progress afterward

  • sending follow-ups

  • building individualized support plans

It’s hands-on. Personalized. Customized. Full of those “-ized” words. 😉

And she realized she hadn’t been talking about those behind-the-scenes elements in her content.

So what did we decide?

We create content around it.

Ideas we brainstormed:

  • Reels explaining what goes into a custom lesson

  • Carousel: “What you’re really getting when you hire a tutor”

  • Stories behind the scenes of prepping student work

  • A post breaking down the actual value of her process

This Works in Every Niche (Especially Network Marketing)

I used this strategy ALL the time when I was in network marketing.

I would literally make lists like:

  • 10 common objections to joining my team

  • 10 reasons people join (and why those reasons are different!)

  • 10 product FAQs

  • 10 misconceptions about the industry

  • 10 “I’m nervous because…” comments I kept hearing

And then I’d create content around them.

Because different people are motivated by different things.

For example:
Some people join for income.
Some join for community.
Some join for incentives and trips.

I had people join my team because they saw me earn a trip and thought:
“Wait… that’s possible?”

And that became content too—storytelling, behind the scenes, the journey, what it took, what it meant for my life.

Your Content Prompt for Today: Make a List of 10

Here’s your simple action step:

Write down 10 questions people have asked you recently.

They can be questions like:

  • “How does this work?”

  • “What’s included?”

  • “Why does it cost that?”

  • “Is this right for me?”

  • “How long does it take?”

  • “What if I’m a beginner?”

And you don’t have to name names or share private details. Keep it general.

But once you have that list, you just created a content calendar—on the spot.

The Magic Is in Cycling Through Your Lists

Once I started doing this, it became so easy to keep showing up.

I’d rotate content types like:

  • one product question

  • one service question

  • one industry myth

  • one client win/testimonial

  • one “behind the scenes” explanation

  • one objection-buster

And suddenly content didn’t feel like a daily creative mountain.

It felt like a simple system.

If It Feels Weird… Post It Anyway (With Support)

Content can feel uncomfortable at first.

Putting yourself out there.
Not getting immediate likes.
Wondering if people are judging.

Totally normal.

But if you get halfway through a post and it feels really “off,” don’t quit—get support.

Have a friend proofread.
Ask a coach.
Send it to someone you trust.

Then post it.

Because you won’t learn what resonates if you never share it.

Final Thoughts

If someone is asking you a question…
there are other people thinking it.

So let your audience’s questions become your content engine.

And if you loved this tip, take a screenshot, share it to your stories, and tag me @lindsaydollinger so I can thank you and cheer you on.

Now go create and own your magic, friend. ✨
