Implementing the Law of Attraction in Business and Travel

Published on

Listen here to the podcast:

Today, we’re delving into the Law of Attraction, and trust me—this isn’t just some mystical concept. It’s a strategy that has played a significant role in helping me juggle and even thrive in my dual life: running a successful business and feeding my relentless travel addiction. Whether you’re an entrepreneur with an insatiable wanderlust or just someone looking to blend business with globetrotting smoothly, this guide is for you.

 Why the Law of Attraction?

To kick things off, let’s clarify what the Law of Attraction is all about. Forget the “woo woo” stigma; this law is rooted in energy alignment and intentional creation. Put simply, it’s the idea that like attracts like. Whatever energy you put out into the universe comes right back at you. Sounds straightforward, right?

In the business world, we often visualize our ventures before they materialize—we believe in our ability to create. Why should your travel dreams be any different?

Unblocking Common Mindset Hurdles

But first, we need to address common mindset blocks that hold entrepreneurs back from globetrotting while building an empire. Here are a few frequent offenders:

1. Presence equals success: I’ve been blessed to see my business thrive while I ride the waves of adventure. The secret? Systems. They set you free, so trust them to keep your business rolling!

2. Travel is a reward, not a necessity: Why view travel as a reward when it’s an invigorating experience that can unleash creativity, expand your network, and ultimately enrich your business?

3. I can’t afford both travel and business growth: This mindset trap overlooks how intentional travel can bolster business growth through new perspectives and valuable connections.

Merging Business and Travel Using the Law of Attraction

Now, how do we take action? By focusing on that energetic alignment and then diving into these actionable steps:

Create a Unified Vision Board

Make a travel vision board that encompasses more than just your dream destinations. Splash it with your career goals, dream clients, and that fantasy villa by the seaside. Let it be a daily reminder that all these aspects of your life are harmonious, not conflicting.

Daily Affirmations

Incorporate daily affirmations with a travel twist: “My business thrives while I explore the world,” or “Travel inspires solutions I bring to life.” Say it, own it.

Express Gratitude

Nurture gratitude for past adventures, no matter how minor. Share those cherished memories with your audience—it’s a signal to the universe and a reminder to yourself that you cherish the freedom travel offers.

Focus on the ‘What,’ Not the ‘How’

Instead of fretting over how everything will fall into place, channel your energy into what you truly want. It’s about releasing the “how” to make room for wonderful surprises.

Take Aligned Action

Step up and put systems in place. Automate where you can, consider shifting to more flexible business models, and realign your operations for the digital nomad lifestyle.

 The Power of Booking

Finally, don’t just dream. Act! Book that next trip—consider it an affirmation of your intentions. Trust in the process and watch how opportunities unfold when you align your actions with your desires.

Wrapping Up

Remember, the life filled with passport stamps and a flourishing business isn’t exclusive to others. It’s waiting for you to claim it. So, this week, I challenge you to take one step—a big or small one—into the life you’ve envisioned.

And while you’re at it, mark your calendars for the next blog update where I’ll be chatting with Dylan Jargis on leveraging platforms like Etsy for a thriving business.
