Her life took another turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This experience served as a wake-up call, prompting her to focus on what truly mattered. Journaling became a therapeutic outlet for Sarah during her recovery, leading her to express her thoughts and aspirations. Encouraged by her husband, she launched a blog to share her journey of overcoming overwhelm and living intentionally.
As Sarah’s audience grew, so did the demand for coaching. She transitioned into life coaching, becoming certified during the pandemic. Her podcast, originally intended as “The Thriving Mompreneur,” evolved into “The Unapologetic Mumpreneur,” reflecting her mission to help women embrace their authentic selves without fear of judgment.
One of the most significant barriers many entrepreneurs face is the fear of showing up online. Sarah shared valuable insights on how to combat this fear:
– **Shift Your Mindset**: Instead of focusing on potential judgment from others, remind yourself that you have valuable insights to share that can help others. Emphasizing your purpose can transform your perspective from self-doubt to service.
– **Limit Noise**: In a world filled with conflicting advice and trends, Sarah recommends curating your influences. She uses a “magic seven” approach—only following seven trusted voices that align with your values and goals. This minimizes distractions and helps maintain clarity in your message.
– **Stay True to Yourself**: When creating content or engaging with your audience, focus on what feels authentic to you rather than trying to guess what others want. This alignment fosters confidence and makes it easier to show up consistently.
Sarah’s journey underscores the significance of living intentionally. By prioritizing what matters most—family, health, and personal fulfillment—she has built a thriving coaching business that resonates with many women seeking balance in their lives.
